Fifth generation New Zealander, Stephanie, opened Seafields as a luxury bed and breakfast in order to share her duel passions of hosting, and a love of the area in which they live.
Stephanie has a long family history of farming. Stephanie’s father had a sheep station in Central Otago before moving to Stephanie’s birthplace, the food and wine mecca - Hawke’s Bay, where he continued sheep farming. Seafields was subsequently purchased by Stephanie’s parents in 1960 as a diary farm and so named due to its stunning sea views and proximity to the beach.
Stephanie is a lover of cats and has been a speciality breeder of Bengal cats resulting in her being a four times winner in the national category of ‘Best Bengal Breeder in New Zealand’. Stephanie are keen on fishing and will be happy advise guests on good fishing charter companies.
Stephanie has undertaken renovation of the property and embarked on a major landscaping project creating the relaxing pool area as it is seen today.
